NIE in Barcelona: step by step receipt, documents and duties

What is NIE and how it is different from TIE

NIE (número de identidad de extrandjero) is a personal, unique and consistent number of the alien, entered in all documents issued to him/her. [1]. TIE (tarjeta de identidad de extranjero) is a plastic card issued to those who hold a permit or visa for more than six months. [1]. NIE does not in itself give the right to live or work in Spain: it is an identifier for procedures. The law sets out two ways. If you start the procedure for a stay document, you will be assigned a job (deoicio) to the NIE. [1]For visas, this applies only to visas that allow for more than 90 days of stay. [1]If you are connected to Spain by economic, professional or social interests, the NIE must ask for it itself, and you can do so until you are in the country illegally. [1][2].

Do you need a NIE for a DNV and when to request it?

The first is to allow a digital nomad to live in two roles: the first is to be used for electronic service. FNMT gives certificado electrónico to the owner of DNI or NIE [9], registration in Cl@ve asks for DNI, NIE or certificate [10]and sede UGE accepts applications with a certificate only [8]to renew licenses. Second role: Consulates treat him differently when they are on a TELL visa. The Istanbul Consulate writes that NIE needs to be in place at the time of submission, and gives an address for a request. NIE in Barcelona step-by-step: shape to result

1. Make a point. The application must state the reason for the request of NIE: economic, professional or social interest [1]For the future DNV, this is preparation for the application and opening up electronic access. The application must be honest: it is signed by you.
2. Fill out the EX-15 form. This is "Socitud de Número de Identidad de Extranjero (NIE) y Certificados"; reference is made to it on the page of the Policía procedure. [2]Please indicate the address for the notifications.

4. Sign up with the Cita pravia. The extrandjería entry portal is selected from the province and distinguishes the entry from the Officiala de Extranjería and the recording from the Policy [5]For Barcelona, it's Barcelona.
5. Be personal. Article 205 of NIE requests in person [1]Take the form, receipt and passport for identification.
6. Get the results. The authority must decide and notify within 5 days of the date on which the application is placed in the competent authority ’s register [1][2].

Where in Barcelona to deliver: Policy or OFICINA de Extranjeria

The law calls both bodies: application for NIE is submitted to the Dirección General de la Policia directly, through the OFICINAS de Extranjería or through comisarias [1]. Time frame, silence and appeal

Decision period 5 days: If the agency has not responded, the application is considered rejected and not approved [1][2]This is the opposite of DNV: there's a 20-day UGE silence that gives consent, so the quiet of the agency is not a success.

Typical errors in the collection of NIE

• Wrong duty code. For NIE, this is 790 code 012. DNV is a different code, model 790 code 038, and it costs 73.26. The first TIE is paid by code 012 and is 16.08 me, which is a separate payment. tasas 790.
• The record is in the wrong organ. The portal is distinguished between Extranjería and Policía: check the name of the procedure in the confirmation [5].
• Waiting for silence to mean NIE. By law, it's a refusal. [1][2].
• The pitch when you're in Spain illegally. The law requires that you be not illegal in the country [1].
• The travesty between NIE and TIE. NIE does not replace the card or extend the stay [1].
• There's an unclear reason for this at EX-15. Formulate the motive specifically and honestly: Article 205 requires that it be specified [1].

What to Do After receiving NIE

Next step at DNV: obtain certificado digital or Cl@ve. FNMT issues the certificate free of charge, the identity check takes place in the office and requires the NIE document along with the passport.
