Documents for residence in Spain: checklist on grounds and terms

There is no single list of documents for residence in Spain: the list is based on the basis (DNV, no lucrativa, studies, employment, family) and the internal form is repeated by the following types: passport, funds, insurance, certificate of non-judiciality, apostol and translation, and they are distributed on the basis of grounds, types and time frames.

Information material, not individual legal opinion: Prepared using IE; checked by a subject matter specialist before publication has not yet been completed; conditions apply to a particular situation and may change.
Short
  • There is no universal list. The list is taken from the official hoja informativa of the Ministry for your reasons or from the document UGE; the consulate or office is entitled to request additional documents [1][2][3][4][5].
  • The non-judicial certificate is considered to be different: for DNV of the country of residence over the past two years plus a declaration over five years, for no lucrativa, for employment and reunification, for five years, only if the stay exceeds six months [1][2][3][4][5].
  • Foreign public documents are issued with apostille or legal status, and translation is done by a juror appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the authorities in the autonomous communities also allow for a co-official language [6].
  • DNV confirms income three months before the date of payment: 2,849 I am per month gross for one claimant and 3,917 I for the claimant and one family member [1].
  • The duty codes in the procedures differ: 790-038 paragraph 7 for UGE, 790-052 for no lucrativa, reunification and employment, 790-062 for employer [1][2][4][5].

List of documents for residence in Spain: no universal list

The Ministry of Inclusion publishes a reference sheet (hoja informativa) for each type of authorization, and UGE publishes its list for Ley 14/2013 permits. The pages contain a reservation: the contents of the indicative, the rules in force at the date of submission apply. [2]In addition, UGE writes that at any time it may request the documents necessary to verify the claims [1]So the check list is down three layers: base, type of document and time; it's a reference for preparing, not replacing, the sheet of your procedure.

Apostille and translation: order and time

The rule is the same: public documents of foreign authorities are filed with apostilles if the country is a party to the 1961 Hague Convention and, if not, consular legalization; the document is translated into Spanish and when the procedure is conducted by an authority in an autonomous community, it is also possible to enter the co-official language. [6]. Translators authorized: juror (trudator-intérprete jurado) appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs or diplomatic missions; translation by the consulate of the country of origin in Spain requires apostolation or legalization [6]. UGE adds that the remaining documents are enough to be translated by a sworn translator, and the summary can be easily translated. [1]The practical arrangements we recommend to the interpreter:

  1. Get the original fresh: certificates, certificates, statements.
  2. Put apostille in the country of extradition: Russian documents, Diploma and certificates, Do you need it at all?.
  3. Order a jury translation of the document with the apostille: what is the price?
  4. Check names, dates and transliterations in all passport documents and between them before downloading them.

Typical bugs in assembly

  • Take a checklist for another reason, a criminal record window, funds and a list of insurance from DNV, no lucrativa and various students [1][2][3].
  • Imposing a short-term passport: a visa takes a year and a reunion takes four months [2][4][5].
  • Translate the document from the interpreter without an appointment by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or to the Apostilles and then carry a new translation [6].
  • Paying the duty in the wrong code: 038 for UGE, 052 for the rest, 062 for the employer; not 012 for TIE and NIE [1][2][4].
  • Bring a bank certificate to another name or without any payment: UGE requests that they be identified and reconciled with the vouchers [1].
  • For DNV, choose insurance with copago, carencia or only with reimbursement of costs: such policies are not accepted by UGE [1].
  • Miss requerimiento because of unread notification: see requerimiento for DNV and access to notifications.
